Hangzhou Electrochemical Group Co. Ltd.

　　Established in 1936, Hangzhou Electrochemical Group (HECG) was one of earliest manufacturer in Chine for chlorinated alkali. In 1965, Hangzhou Electrochemical Group moved its factory into Puyan town of Xiaoshan city, and started its second-stage business since then. According to the planning and order of Hangzhou government, we moved our factory again in 2010. Now, we are working on the development of our third-stage business in Linjiang Industrial Park of Xiaoshan District.

　　We started to build our new factory since the day of November 15, 2007, and this factory was put into function on May 8, 2010. With the total investment of CNY 1.36 billion for the first stage of new factory, we have built 16,000sqm of buildings, 80,000sqm of structures, 1,300 sets of equipments, 150,000 meters of processing pipelines, 32,600 meters of underground pipelines, 21,000 meters of external pipes, 90,000sqm of roads, 50,000sqm of green lands and one million meters of cables.

　　Our outputs: 200,000 t/a ion-exchange membrane sodium hydroxide, 100,000 t/a PVC, 100,000 t/a Liquid Chlorine, 100,000 t/a sodium hypochlorite, 20,000 t/a electronic chemicals, 100,000 t/a hydrogen peroxide, 60,000 t/a hydrochloric acid, 8 million m3/compressed hydrogen, 3,000m3/h oxygen making series.

　　Up to now, we have owned a series of latest production apparatus, including chlorine engineering ion-exchange membrane electrolysis unit from Japan, chlorine gas compressor of SIEMENS, water treatment equipment of DOW, HVMTM membrane filtration equipment from Singapore, and so on. With the help of these leading equipments, we have successfully lowered 50.8% of energy consumption of Sodium hydroxide, and about 40% of comprehensive energy consumption for CNY ten thousand production value. Now, we are well-known for good arrangement, leading technology, energy-saving, discharge-reducing, and beautiful surrounding.

　　At present, HECG is a hi-tech enterprise of Zhejiang province, a trail enterprise of Zhejiang province for innovation, and key supported enterprise of "Five-Batch" of Zhejiang province. We have been one of Top-500 competitive large-enterprise-group of China for four successive years. We now have 12 subsidiaries, town of them are Sino-foreign ventures; moreover, there are Zhejiang Province technology Center and Zhejiang Province key Pilot-scale Experiment Base in our Group. HECG also lays great stresses on the innovations, and 50% of production values are coming from hi-tech products. We got the ISO certificate in 1996. Now, we are working hard on the establishment of ISO9001: 2008 quality system in our group.
